Thankful Thursday

💙✨ THANKFUL THURSDAY — THANK GOD FOR THE PEOPLE WHO STAYED ✨💙

Some blessings don’t come wrapped in a box.

Sometimes they answer the phone. 📱

Sometimes they sit beside you when there really aren’t any words.

Sometimes they pray for you when you’re too tired to pray for yourself.

Sometimes they make you laugh on the day you thought you had absolutely nothing to laugh about. 😂

Sometimes they tell you the truth when you’d really prefer they didn’t. 😆

And sometimes…

they simply stay.

📖 “A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”

— Proverbs 17:17 KJV

Think about the people God has placed in your life.

The person who celebrated when something wonderful happened—and didn’t become jealous of your joy.

The person who saw you struggling and didn’t require you to pretend you were okay.

The one who checked on you.

Prayed for you.

Encouraged you.

Forgave you.

Made room for you.

Believed in you when your own confidence was running a little low.

Maybe they didn’t fix anything.

Maybe they couldn’t.

But they stayed. 💙

We spend a lot of time thanking God for things.

Today, let’s thank Him for people.

Because sometimes God’s provision doesn’t look like money in the bank or a door opening.

Sometimes God’s provision looks like somebody sitting across from you saying:

“You’re not doing this alone.”

And here’s the other side of that:

Don’t only ask yourself who has been that person for you.

Ask:

“Whose person can I be?”

Who needs the phone call?

Who needs encouragement?

Who needs someone to remember their name in prayer?

Who needs somebody to simply show up?

Maybe today’s blessing isn’t something you’re going to receive.

Maybe it’s something God wants to give somebody else through you. 💙

✨ THANKFUL THURSDAY CHECK-IN ✨

A-Tall-Order family, today’s check-in is a little different. Who is someone you’re thankful God placed in your life? You don’t have to tell us their whole story. Just tell us who they are to you and why you’re thankful for them.

Maybe it’s:

❤️ A spouse or partner

💙 A parent or family member

🙏 A friend who stayed

⛪ Someone from church

💼 A coworker

🌱 A mentor

😂 The person who always makes you laugh

🙏 Someone who prayed you through a difficult season

💙 Somebody who showed up when you needed them most. And here’s today’s challenge: If they’re still here, TELL THEM.

Tag them.

Text them.

Call them.

Walk into the other room and tell them. 😂

Don’t wait until someday to say something you can say today:“I’m thankful God put you in my life.” 💙 Then find someone else’s comment and leave them a ❤️ or 🙏. Let’s spend today giving people their flowers while they’re here to receive them. 💐
