Come With Gratitude

💙✨ SUNDAY — COME WITH GRATITUDE ✨💙

Sunday morning.

For many of us, that means church.

Worship.

Prayer.

Opening our Bibles.

And probably figuring out whether we have enough time for coffee before we leave. 😂☕️

But before we bring God another request today…

What if we simply said:

“Thank You.”

📖 “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”

— Psalm 100:4 KJV

Sometimes our conversations with God can become a list.

God, I need this.

Please fix that.

Open this door.

Change this situation.

Help this person.

Answer this prayer.

And there’s nothing wrong with bringing our needs to Him. He invites us to.

But today, before asking God for what we still need, let’s remember what He’s already done.

Thank You for waking me up.

Thank You for another breath.

Thank You for food.

Thank You for shelter.

Thank You for the people who love me.

Thank You for prayers You’ve answered.

Thank You for prayers I’m still waiting on.

Thank You for protecting me from things I never even saw coming.

Thank You for carrying me through days I didn’t think I could survive.

Thank You for grace.

Thank You for mercy.

Thank You for Jesus. 🙏

And if life is difficult right now, gratitude doesn’t mean pretending everything is okay.

It simply means saying:

“God, even here, I can still find a reason to praise You.”

Maybe you don’t have everything you prayed for.

But look around.

You’ve probably got something today that you once prayed for. 💙

Don’t become so focused on the next blessing that you forget to thank God for the one you’re already living in.

Today, before asking Him for anything…

thank Him for everything you can think of.
