Let God Be God
Good Sunday morning, A-Tall-Order family! ☀️☕🙏
Here’s your Sunday permission slip:
You do not have to figure everything out today.
You don’t have to solve next month.
You don’t have to know how that situation is going to turn out.
You don’t have to have the perfect plan.
You don’t even have to mentally rehearse every possible thing that could go wrong.
Some of us just whispered, “Well, there goes my afternoon.” 😂☕
Yesterday we talked about surrendering what’s outside our control.
But surrender has a second part:
After you put it down, you have to be willing to leave it there.
📖 “Be still, and know that I am God…”
— Psalm 46:10 KJV
There is something wonderfully freeing about those words.
God doesn’t say:
“Be still and figure Me out.”
He says:
“Be still, and KNOW that I am God.”
Sometimes faith is loud.
It prays boldly.
It moves mountains.
It takes courageous steps.
But sometimes faith is very quiet.
Sometimes faith sits down.
Takes a breath.
Opens the Bible.
Worships.
Drinks the coffee while it’s actually still hot. ☕😂
And says:
“God, You’re God. I’m not. And today I’m okay with that.”
You can worship before you have the answer.
You can have peace before the situation changes.
You can enjoy today while you’re still waiting for tomorrow to make sense.
And you can rest without feeling guilty because God did not appoint you manager of the universe.
That position has already been filled. 😆💙
So today…
Go to church.
Sing loudly—even if the person beside you wishes you wouldn’t. 😂
Love your people.
Eat something good.
Notice the sunshine.
Take the nap.
Laugh.
Pray.
And when your mind starts trying to pick yesterday’s worries back up, remind yourself:
“God is still God. And I can rest.”
Tomorrow will bring whatever tomorrow brings.
But today?
Today belongs to God too. 💙

✨ SUNDAY COMMUNITY CHECK-IN ✨
Okay, A-Tall-Order family, yesterday we put some things down.
Today we’re going to practice leaving them there. 💙
So here’s our Sunday question:
What is ONE thing you’re going to enjoy today instead of worrying about tomorrow?
Maybe it’s:
⛪ Worship at church
❤️ Time with somebody you love
☕ A quiet cup of coffee
🍽️ Sunday dinner
😂 Laughing with family or friends
📖 Reading your Bible
🌳 Sitting outside
🎶 Listening to worship music
🐶 Time with your four-legged family member
😴 A glorious Sunday nap—and YES, that absolutely counts 😂
🙏 Simply sitting quietly with God
Finish this sentence:
“Today I’m going to enjoy ______ and trust God with tomorrow.”
Then find someone else’s comment and leave them a ❤️ or 🙏.
And if your mind starts worrying again later?
No condemnation.
Just remind it:
“Nope. We’ve already discussed this. God has tomorrow.” 😂💙
Then come right back to today.
Be still.
Be present.
Be grateful.
Let God be God. 🙏
A-Tall-Order
Faith. Love. Purpose. 💙
